Configure Shift Types & Differentials

Configuring shift types and managing shift differentials are crucial for compensating employees accurately based on the hours they work and the conditions under which they work.

  1. Navigate to the Shift Management section within the Remote Payroll system.
  2. Define different shift types, such as day, evening, or night shifts, including their specific start and end times.
  3. Set up shift differentials, specifying the additional pay rates for each type of shift, based on company policy or employment agreements.
  4. Assign employees to shifts and ensure that the system automatically applies the correct differential when processing payroll.
  5. Regularly review and adjust shift differential settings to reflect any changes in work patterns or compensation policies.
