What is Vyki

Vyki is hh2's Payroll AI Assistant. She lives inside the hh2 Time Tracking site as a chat window, and her job is simple: handle the prep work that stands between your team and a clean payroll run.

Before payroll can go out, someone has to track down missing time, fix entries that don't meet compliance, chase supervisors for approvals, and notify employees who haven't submitted. At most companies, that work lands on the Payroll Manager — and it takes most of a day, every pay period.

Vyki handles it instead. Tell her what you need in plain language, and she does the work.

What Vyki Does

Vyki works through the same steps your team handles manually today — just faster, and without the back-and-forth.

  1. Finds Missing Time
    Vyki scans every time sheet you have access to and tells you exactly who hasn't submitted time, who is short on hours, and what's incomplete — grouped by crew, project, foreman, or employee.

  2. Sends Notifications

    Once she knows who needs to act, Vyki reaches out directly by SMS or email — to field employees who haven't entered time, and to managers and supervisors who haven't approved it. No phone calls. No manual emails.

  1. Reviews for Compliance
    Vyki checks every time sheet against federal, state, and local labor regulations before payroll runs. Overtime errors, missing daily comments, entries that don't meet state-specific thresholds — she catches them and tells you exactly what triggered the flag.

  2. Approves Clean Time Sheets
    Once time sheets pass compliance review, Vyki can approve them — one at a time or in batches. Every approval runs through the same permission and validation rules as a manual approval in hh2.

  3. Updates Time Entries
    Need to change a cost code, add a daily comment, or correct hours? Tell Vyki what to change in plain language. She proposes the update, waits for your confirmation, and applies it.


How Vyki Works

Vyki is not a keyword bot or a simple search tool. Behind the chat window is a reasoning engine that interprets what you mean — not just what you typed — and picks the right action to take.

The same request can be phrased a dozen different ways and Vyki handles all of them:

  • "Approve the Birch project time sheets."
  • "Sign off on Birch this week."
  • "Mark the Birch time sheets approved."

All three reach the same action. You do not have to learn a command syntax or navigate a menu. Just describe what you need.

Note: Vyki works within your existing hh2 permissions at all times. She cannot read, edit, or approve a time sheet you couldn't reach yourself. Every action she takes is logged under your user identity.


What Vyki Saves You

Based on hh2 customer research, Payroll Managers spend at minimum one full working day chasing missing time, validating time sheets, and preparing for payroll — every pay period. That holding period grows with every additional employee on payroll.

Where Vyki Lives in hh2

Vyki is available throughout Time Tracking — on the Time Sheet, Time Record Entry, and Time Approval pages, as well as the hh2 homepage. She appears as a small chat indicator in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

There is no separate app, no new login, and no integration to set up. Vyki is already in your hh2 platform.

Note: The Vyki chat window is visible to Payroll Managers only. Other roles — foremen, project managers, field employees — receive outbound notifications from Vyki by SMS or email but do not see the chat interface.
