Log In and Navigate the Home Page

This article explains how to access your hh2 site, including how new users are set up, how to locate your tenant URL, and what to do if you cannot log in.

Before You Begin

To log in to hh2, you will need:

  • Your company’s tenant URL (example: your company.hh2.com) 

  • Your username

  • Your password

If you do not have this information, follow the guidance below based on your role.

I Am an Employee Trying to Log In

How New Users Get Access

New users must be created by a company Administrator.

An Admin user (such as a System Admin or Payroll Admin) will:

  1. Navigate to:
    Settings & Configurations > System Configurations > User Setup
    (or another module-specific User Setup page)

  2. Create the user account by entering:

    • Username

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email address

  3. Open the Mappings tab within the user account and connect the employee record.
    This mapping allows the user to access their linked employee data when logging in.

What Happens After the Account Is Created?

  • The user will receive an email to verify their email address.

  • The verification email includes a link to the company’s tenant-specific site.

  • A password is not automatically generated.

  • The Admin must trigger a Reset Password email if needed.

If you do not receive a verification email:

  • Contact your company Administrator.

  • Your Admin can:

    • Resend the verification email

    • Trigger a Reset Password email

    • Provide the tenant URL directly

hh2 Support cannot provide login credentials directly to employees.

How to Find Your Tenant URL

hh2 login is always accessed through your company’s tenant URL:

companyname.hh2.com 

If you do not know your tenant URL:

  1. Contact your company Administrator first.

  2. Only if your Admin cannot locate it should they contact hh2 Support.

There is no universal public login page. Login is always tenant-specific.

Forgot Your Password?

Both the web login page and the mobile apps include a Forgot Your Password link.

  1. Click Forgot Your Password

  2. Enter your email address

  3. A Reset Password email will be sent

If you do not receive the reset email:

  • Check your spam folder

  • Contact your company Administrator

I Don’t Know My Username

Usernames must be confirmed by your company Administrator.

At this time, hh2 Support cannot verify user identity for username recovery.

My Account Is Locked

If your account becomes locked:

  • Contact your company Administrator.

  • The Admin can unlock your account within User Setup.

I Am an Administrator

How First-Time Login Setup Works

To set up a new user:

  1. Navigate to User Setup

  2. Enter:

    • Username

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

  3. Map the user to the appropriate employee record (if applicable)

  4. Provide the user with:

    • Their username

    • Their tenant URL

  5. Trigger a Reset Password email if necessary

I Cannot Locate My Tenant URL

If you are an Administrator and cannot locate your company’s tenant URL:

  • Submit a Support ticket.

Support can provide:

  • The correct web tenant URL

  • The tenant identifier used for mobile app login

I Cannot Log In

If you are an Administrator and cannot log in:

  1. Use the Forgot Your Password link first.

  2. If you still cannot access your account:

    • Submit a Support ticket.

Support can:

  • Trigger a Reset Password email

  • Confirm your username

  • Direct you to another Admin in your system if needed
